For the youth who'll lead it.

max during treatment

The MAX STRONG PROJECT

is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to empower and uplift pediatric cancer patients in underserved areas across the Americas by providing critical medical support and life-enhancing resources. Beyond advocacy and funding, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of changemakers by teaching youth the values of leadership, service, and purpose, ensuring they not only receive care, but also the tools to lead and inspire others in the face of adversity.

what we do

Until every child survives, there's more work to be done.

Four programs. Two continents. One mission. 100% delivered.

MAX Packs

Comfort kits for children in treatment

Each MAXPack is assembled with intention: comfort items, snacks, toiletries, and a personal message of hope -- designed to uplift young cancer patients during treatment. MAXPacks are distributed to pediatric oncology patients at hospitals and clinics in South Florida, including Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Because a child going through treatment is still a child.

Childhood shouldn't stop for cancer.

MAX Relief

Direct support for families

We partner with local foundations in Venezuela to deliver critical resources directly to pediatric cancer patients in underserved communities. What we deliver: medical supplies and medications, hygiene items and nutrition support, comfort kits: toys, books, and blankets. When possible, we fund full treatment cycles for families who cannot afford them. Initial efforts are focused on hospitals and clinics in Caracas and surrounding areas.

Youth leadership in action

This is The Max Strong Project's youth empowerment and advocacy program. We believe that empowered young people become leaders who change policy, shift systems, and push the world forward. Your difficulty is not something to recover from. It's something to lead with.

We want you not despite your story -- but because of it.

our founder

I’m Clemen

Max is my brother. This is our fight.

Clementina Gonzalez is a student at Ransom Everglades School and the founder of The Max Strong Project. When her younger brother Max was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, she made a decision: his fight would not end with their family. Since then, she has raised over $190,000 for pediatric cancer research. Her mission is rooted in love, resilience, and the belief that every child has the power to lead -- not despite their circumstances, but because of them.

MAX Research

Funding better outcomes

For decades, childhood cancer meant trial and error — same chemo, same radiation, every child. Precision medicine transformed adult care years ago. Kids were left behind. Boston Children's Hospital is closing that gap. Their researchers built genetic testing tools for children's tumors — matching a child to a treatment built for their exact cancer. The Max Strong Project funds that research with the Nicholas Zoe Foundation.

Surviving isn't enough.

We want treatment as precise as the child it's treating.
